One would think that tweeting out something with a hint of racism, religious ignorance, and everything in between that’ll gain traction in the internet atmosphere. But no, people like former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling fell victim to his own stupidity. The now-former ESPN analyst has been removed from his current Little League Series gig at the Disney-owned company.
Read the idiotic tweet that’ll ultimately lead to his demise.
Schilling quickly took it down and posted this tweet:
@redcarbad needed to actually think a bit before acting on that one, or not acting. On me though
— Curt Schilling (@gehrig38) August 25, 2015
ESPN released a statement stating:
“Curt’s tweet was completely unacceptable, and in no way represents our company’s perspective. We made that point very strongly to Curt and have removed him from his current Little League assignment pending further consideration.”
Well, at least you still have the blood sock game for us to remember you by, Curt.
