It hasn’t even been a month yet and Drake’s Views album has already found itself being the topic of many conversations surrounding Drake and the genre of Hip-Hop. Met with much commercial success, in the past several days Drake has continued to keep the momentum going thanks to a string of promotional stops in support of the album. Next up, to keep the people talking and the fans excited, Drake puts the focus back on Views as one of the fan-favorite records from the album has received remix treatment. Receiving some help from his Young Money boss, Lil Wayne does what he does best and has hopped on the remix of Drake’s ‘Hype.’
Seeing its premiere via OVO Sound Radio and only adding on to the energy that Drake unleashed on ‘Hype,’ the new remix is a pleasant treat for fans as Lil Wayne doesn’t hold back with the wordplay that we’re all use to by now. Still keeping things hilarious, the rapper even goes as far as dropping a reference to the widely popular children’s classic, “Barney.” As fans still wait for Lil Wayne’s anticipated Tha Carter V album, it still remains exciting to receive and hear new verses from him. Hear just what he cooked up on the ‘Hype’ remix, below.
