Drake's 8th Annual OVO Fest Featured Star Studded Performances

8th annual OVO Fest took place Monday and as it prepares to commence, Drake wouldn’t go without a bang. It’s only right Drake shares the stage as he has in previous years.

Prior to special guest coming out, Octobers Very Own held down the stage. Opening up the show, each of Drake’s artist took the stage to perform their respective hits. That means the likes of Roy Woods, dvsn and Majid Jordan got things started.

With Drake using a CN Tower as his set he took the stage to perform some of his hit records. Free Smoke, No Long Talk, Know Yourself and Jumpman.

Next up Playboi Carti blessed the stage to perform “Magnolia” and his Lil Uzi Vert assisted “iwokeuplikwthis”. Following Carti, Drake returns to then perform “Ice Melts” and “Sacrifices”. Now time for some more special guest as Drake stated, we’re just getting started.

French Montana hit the stage to perform “Unforgettable” alongside Rae Sremmurd. Speaking of prior to French coming out, our duo performed showing they’re really “Black Beatles”. Then to many fans surprise, Tory Lanez hit the stage to perform his rendition of Drake’s hit song “Controlla”. If you are not familiar these two had “beef” but squashed it when a picture surfaced of the two together. Leading up to T. Lanez coming out were a few more cuts from Drake; Madibba Ridim, Signs, One Dance and Controlla. Perfect transitions.

Migos were next to bless the stage with Cardi B performing what is the hottest song out “Bodak Yellow”. As for Migos, of course, they performed such bangers like “Bad & Boujee” and “T-Shirt”. Travis Scott helped Aubrey perform the More Life-cut, “Portland” which is my favorite song on the album. La Flame then did his thing which involved performing “Goosebumps” and “Butterfly Effect”.

There isn’t an OVO Fest without PARTYNEXTDOOR as he blessed the stage to perform “Recognize” and “Come and See Me”. Following PND’s set, Drake returned to perform “Passionfruit” and “Teenage Fever”. At this point how can Drake outdo himself? Well how about bringing out the legendary Nelly! Following up Nelly’s surprise performance, we get Drake to keep things going with “Fake Love” and “KMT”.

To round out OVO Fest, we see The Weeknd bless the stage with Drake to give us a performance of “Crew Love”. According to The 6 God, an OVOXO project has to happen. What y’all think? Lastly, Baka comes out to do his record “Live Up To My Name” and Drake’s “Gyalchester”

It’s an OVO Sound ting for life…
