Slowly but surely, Baltimore’s music scene has scene a more prominent rise in the year of 2015. From the likes of Malik Ferraud, 7uca, Jay Verze, and a handful of others, B-more’s music scene is seeing a breakthrough that hasn’t been highlighted in a substantial period of time. For the natives, a giant piece of the music culture is the Baltimore club music/mix that is often imitated and duplicated in more prominent and well-known works, but often lacks the credit. Continuing the consistent movement, DJ Juwan has linked up with some fellow city brethren, Matic808, Jay Verze, and Mike-Mike ZOME, and has unleashed his brand new record titled ‘Represent.’ Straight to the point, the DJ Juwan cut hears the gentlemen highlighting their respective areas within and surrounding the city, while honing in on the central theme of loving just where you come from. In true Baltimore club-mix fashion, the tune is action-packed and is ready to set dance floors ablaze. If you’re needing something to wake you up this morning, look no further and listen to ‘Represent,’ below.
