With Pixar animation making it’s big announcement this weekend over the long awaited ‘Incredibles 2’ movie, even releasing a snippet that sent the internet into a frenzy, Disney had to try to “stop the bleeding” by announcing a film of it’s own, A Wrinkle In Time. Directed by Emmy Award winner, Oscar recipient and Golden Globe nominee Ava DuVernay from a screenplay by Oscar winner Jennifer Lee. Based upon the beloved novel by Madeleine L’Engle, “A Wrinkle in Time’; the movie will be take audiences across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love. Through one girl’s transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing one’s individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one’s own light.

Starring two-time Academy Award nominee Oprah Winfrey, Oscar and Emmy winner Reese Witherspoon, Emmy nominee Mindy Kaling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Pe?a and introducing Storm Reid, with two-time Emmy winner Zach Galifianakis and Emmy nominee Chris Pine. Disney is going all in for this movie and you can tell from it’s cast, and this should be taken into consideration since Disney’s first attempt at making the film based on the novel in 2003, didn’t go so well.
