After Leonardo DiCaprio passed on the chance to play Apple founder Steve Jobs, Christian Bale has reportedly taken the role.
According to Variety, the film will be adapted from Author Walter Issacson’s written biography about the tech mogul.
The movie is running with the title Jobs and will be directed by Danny Boyle and written by Aaron Sorkin.
Speaking on the film, Sorkin said the film will revolve around Apple’s famous product launches and will be divided into 3 acts.
“The first one being the Mac,” he told the Daily Beast. “The second one being NeXT, after he had left Apple. And the third one being the iPod.
“It’s a little like writing about the Beatles. There are so many people out there that know him and revere him.”
Shooting will reportedly start this Spring.
