A new trailer for Jackie Chan‘s Dragon Blade has been released.
The historical drama also stars John Cusack and Adrien Brody and centers around the story of a captured prince, a Roman soldier and a Roman Emperor.
The film is written and directed by Daniel Lee [14 Blade, Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon], and was reportedly shot on a $65 million budget.
The story is set during China’s Han Dynasty [206-220 AD] and is based around commander of the Western Regions’ Protection Squad Huo An [Chan] being framed and enslaved.
Cusack plays Roman soldier Lucius, who makes his escape to China after rescuing a prince and joining forces with Huo An, while Brody plays Emperor Tiberius.
A US release date for Dragon Blade has yet to be announced.
