This is definitely an interesting pairing.

Another unlikely pairing for Chance? Maybe so after both him and John Mayer confirmed a collaboration. Recently on Thursday, the two artists were spotted at Dave Chappelle’s shows at Radio City Music Hall. While the two joined an all-star lineup of stars at the show, rumors started to speculate a pairing of the two.

Afterwards, fans went to social media to ask the Chicago rapper about the potential link up. Chance responded to fans with “Yes.” Afterwards, Mayer joined in, tweeting out “CO-SIGNED”.
While Twitter is in favor of this collab, this isn’t the first hip hop artist Mayer has linked up with.

The soulful guitarist has been seen on collaborations with Kanye West (“Bittersweet”) and Common (“Go!”). In 2009, Mayer joined Jay-Z at his 9/11 charity concert, joining the rapper in some of his songs. Meanwhile, Chance is known for exploring outside of just hip hop. The Chicago emcee has gone from gospel to dropping major verses.

Stay tuned for more on this ongoing collab from both artists.
