A massive blow to the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight with Kyrie set to miss up to one-month of action with a broken left index finger. The loss will be greatly felt by the struggling 2-8 Cavs who rely on the second-year point guard for the bulk of their scoring.
Irving originally had the injury diagnosed as a bruise before tests revealed a fracture and further tests revealed the true nature of the ailment.
The franchise said Irving’s finger will be taped and placed in a splint. He will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
