Last month, well-known Chicago-based artist Chance The Rapper pledged he’d personally be donating $1 million to Chicago Public Schools. The more than generous donation by the rapper was huge for the city of Chicago and its public schools.
In addition, Chance made an announcement today at Robeson High School on the South Side of Chicago that his donation has increased to $2.2 million today, thanks in large part to the Chicago Bulls. Watch Chance’s announcement below as he talks about his collaborative donation with the Chicago Bulls.

Similar to Chance, the Chicago Bulls also tweeted out and posted on their site about the announcement of their donation to Chicago Public Schools.

For Chicago Public Schools, the collaborative efforts of both Chance The Rapper and the Chicago Bulls are huge steps in the right direction in helping the youth in Chicago.
