After months of not having a head coach, the Philadelphia 76’ers can finally take some steps forward into rebuild mode after hiring former San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Brett Brown on a reported 4 year deal.
Ian Thomson of SI.com was the first to report…
Brett Brown has been hired as coach of 76ers says league source. 4 yrs guaranteed.
As I said with this deal done they can progress with their rebuilding phase. They’ve already started by trading their star point guard Jrue Holiday in exchange for rookies Nerlens Noel and Michael Carter-Williams.
It will be interesting watching how coach Brown will go about this with no legit star player, but he’s got all the tools there with a very young squad and the famous die hard Philly fans to help the team grow. Let’s see if he can make something out of it. Good luck coach. Your going to need it.
