R&B diva, Brandy recently hooked up with BrandyDaily, one of her biggest fansites, for a revealing talk covering a vast array of topics ranging from her latest album, Two Eleven, to her humble beginnings.
In the nearly 40 minute chat, the “Baby” singer discussed what she wants to be remembered for (being a good person), crossing over then and now, and she gave an update on the “Wildest Dreams“ video. The Grammy winner also gave her thoughts on Drake producing an Aaliyah album, and if there are any songs that she wishes she hadn’t passed on.
During the conversation, Brandy’s mentor and idol, Whitney Houston, came up when she talked about being scorned by the diva for not singing loud enough around the Never Say Never era. Brandy credits Houston for helping her break out of her vocal shell — which pushed her to take risks during Full Moon. Great listen.
Two Eleven drops October 16. See the tracklisting here.
