The Buffalo Bills started off their offseason in a strange way signing two fullbacks in Patrick DiMarco and Mike Tolbert. Now they have made an improvement along the offensive line signing Vladimir Ducasse to 3-year deal. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports first reported the transaction.

Pro Football Focus graded Ducasse as the 59th best guard in 2016. He comes to Buffalo via Baltimore where new Bills offensive line coach Juan Castillo coached last season. Ducasse, 29, hasn’t lived up to the hype of a former 2nd round pick back in 2010 from UMass.
Ducasse will likely be a high paid reserve to start the season backing up Richie Incognito and John Miller. Buffalo had the NFL’s best DVOA-rated rushing offense in 2016. He could also be an option at right tackle providing depth. Either way, Ducasse is a nice asset to have regardless of where he plays on the offensive line.
