It looks like the ever so opinionated and talented Azealia Banks is capitalizing off the things she said just as much as she’s capitalizing from the praise of her music. The ‘212’ rapper surely expereincing some high points in life right now. As she’s been overseas recently promoting and performing material from her debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste, Azealia Banks has also been raking in the magazine covers and spreads. Most recently, Playboy Magazine unveiled their spread with the self-deemed ‘Ice Princess, but now Ms. Banks takes a more subtle approach as she covers Billboard Magazine
With the full cover story and spread out on April 3rd, Azealia shared some sentiments on what she’d like in the future for herself.
4. She Wants to Be Recognized in Her Lifetime
“Celebrities are celebrated, and I don’t think I’m celebrated,” Banks says. “But maybe one day. It would be nice. I just don’t want to be forgotten about while I’m still alive.”
This comes as an interesting piece from Azealia as she radiates a strong ‘I don’t give a f***’ attitude. With such talent, it often seems that her strong, and often valid, opinions get in the way of the presence of her music.
