Album #9 is here folks. Rick Ross is back with his anticipated studio album, ‘Rather You Than Me’. His debut album, Port of Miami first introduced the world to Ross back in 2006 and the biggest Bawse has been nothing but consistent since.
Kicking off the album campaign, Rozay blessed fans with ‘Buy Back The Block’ which didn’t make the cut. Following the momentum that record received, it was his first single that really sparked interest. ‘I Think She Like Me‘ featured Ty Dolla $ign and caught Ross in his element, flowing over a soulful sound that many fans have grown to love.
Martha Stewart joined in on the promotion of the album and that then prompted the release of such singles like ‘She On My D–K‘ featuring Gucci Mane, ‘Trap Trap Trap’ featuring Young Thug, and Wale, ‘Dead Presidents‘ featuring Jeezy, Future, and Yo Gotti then lastly the record everyone is talking about, ‘Idols Become Rivals’ featuring Chris Rock. The latter is being labeled a Birdman diss.
The first few records we heard have a star-studded lineup and that is just the beginning. Rather You Than Me features assistance from Raphael Saadiq, Nas, Scrilla, DeJ Loaf, Meek Mill and Anthony Hamilton to round out the rest of the cast.
‘Rather You Than Me’ releases officially on March 17th, the album is available internationally and can be streamed thanks to spotify.
