The 2016 NBA Draft combine is a big step as the 2016 NBA Draft quickly approaches and it’s time to start getting the young prospects prepared for the biggest night of their lives. With the 2016 NFL Draft in the books, the next big draft comes from the NBA on June 23rd.
The first step towards getting these prospects selected is attending the 2016 NBA draft combine and last year we saw some guys really take a big step towards their future in the NBA. This year, there are 63 players attending but three notable omissions from the list.

Duke Blue Devils’ freshman phenom forward Brandon Ingram, who is regarded by some as the top player in this year’s draft, will be in attendance in preparation for the draft. Many of the other standouts from last season’s collegiate campaign will be joining Ingram including Oklahoma Sooners guard and Naismith Player of the Year Buddy Hield, Michigan State Spartans guard and AP Player of the Year Denzel Valentine, North Carolina Tar Heels big man Brice Johnson, Kansas Jayhawks forward Cheick Diallo, Virginia Cavaliers swingman Malcolm Brogdon, Providence Friars point guard Kris Dunn, Maryland Terrapins point guard Melo Trimble and straight out of high school sensation, Thon Maker.
The three players missing, Ben Simmons, Dejounte Murray and Domantas Sabonis are missing due to an agent decision, reports Goodman. It’s likely that they all will have their own private workout sessions at some point this summer.
